About Dr. Michael J. Meon DMD, PA

Dr. Michael Meon graduated from UAB school of dentistry in 1973 after doing his undergraduate work at the University of Alabama.

He has many loyal patients that have moved away but refuse to find another dentist and travel to their appointments. A warm, friendly, family man, Dr. Meon and his knowledgeable staff will make you comfortable and will quickly and efficiently take care of your needs. His practice takes great pride in running on schedule and you will rarely have to wait when you arrive on time for your appointment.

Dr. Meon is a long standing member of the Alabama Dental Association and has received certification in the following areas:

Orthodontics
Laser Dentistry
Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr. Meon is always keeping up with the new technology, and was the second dentist in the state of Alabama to have a Laser*, and has a digital injection system to dispense anesthetic that is virtually pain free. He wrote his own office software when he got his first computer back in the 80’s because there wasn’t any available then, and enjoys keeping up with all the latest Apple gadgets and technologies. In his free time you will find him outdoors, exercising, working in the yard or enjoying the Alabama gulf coast!
